Hydro Group inks strategic agreement for international growth

Aberdeen-headquartered subsea cable and connector specialist Hydro Group plc increases its global presences as it announces its partnership with Turkish firm, IMCA Electronics.

Complementing Hydro Group's cable and connection solutions, IMCA offers a range of sub-systems and components for highly demanding technical applications on land, sea and air.

The partnership will aid Hydro Group's customer support in Turkey and help develop key business opportunities within the region. Additionally, it will extend the services which IMCA currently offers to subsea high integrity systems developers within the high reliability and harsh environment component market.

Graham Wilkie, head of global development at Hydro Group said: “We are pleased to be working with IMCA, a long established and highly respected partner in the region. The team's technical and market experience will enhance our ability to provide solutions for dynamic underwater applications, while building a mutually beneficial and effective relationship.

“Penetrating the Turkish market is an exciting step for Hydro Group. Having developed partnerships in Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines in the past 12 months, this new agreement signifies the next step in our ambitious plans for strategic international growth.”
