EnergyScout Moves Beyond Pilot Phase

Posted by Laura Hunter

EnergyScout (, the on-line platform  aimed at moving upstream oil and gas deals forward by bringing together farm-in and farm-out partners, investors, promoters and government licensing authorities is now fully operational, and well on track for its first 1000 registered users.
The company is seeing funding coming back into the industry, but those with capital are still finding it hard to find suitable projects, and there are many good projects looking for capital.  This is especially the case for those project operators who do not have access to established fund raising channels.  The aim of EnergyScout is to open the industry up and raise awareness of all available prospects and financing opportunities.

EnergyScout continues to offer asset owners and licensing authorities looking for partners and investment a free listing service, and have made the listing process as intuitive as possible with full GIS support.  Investors are able to register their investment criteria which will then be matched against available opportunities.  In addition, the alert service will advise investors automatically when other suitable opportunities have been listed.  The platform will continue to be refined based on user feedback, but the take up rate has clearly demonstrated the enthusiasm for such a product.

New service from OilVoice
Trip Shepherd is for companies who need to track their staff in areas of risk.
It's free to use, so we invite you to try it.
