Reuters Events is connecting more than 30 downstream leaders and 5,000 industry representatives this November to investigate how the sector can deliver value through uncertainty.
The virtual Downstream Leadership Forum on November 19 and 20 will feature speakers such as Dow chairman and CEO Jim Fitterling, Chemours president and CEO Mark Vergnano and Shell downstream director Huibert Vigeveno.
It will aim to help futureproof the downstream sector after what can best be described as a tumultuous year, tainted by falling demand and a dampened outlook for oil and gas in general.
“We're committed to providing a platform to collectively overcome challenges created by global economic uncertainty, growing environmental and social responsibilities, and a world that demands more,” said Bridget Robinson, global project director for the Downstream Leadership Forum.
Registration for the Downstream Leadership Forum is open and attendees can choose between a free taster or an executive pass that includes access to the Forum's exclusive networking platform, live and on-demand content and more. The event's two-day agenda will focus on four key themes:
Billed as ‘the Davos of downstream', the Downstream Leadership Forum speaker lineup also includes Par Petroleum CEO Joseph Israel, Indian Oil Corporation petrochemicals general manager Mathew George and Raffinerie Heide managing director Jürgen Wollschläger, among other industry leaders. This virtual event is scheduled for November 19 and 20, 2020.
