Progressive TSL announce new implementation partnership with Jersey Oil and Gas

Progressive TSL is proud to announce that they have been selected by Jersey Oil and Gas plc (“JOG”) to implement SunSystems, Infor EAM and Infor OS, finance and asset management solutions to support business growth

About Jersey Oil and Gas

Jersey Oil and Gas (JOG) is a fast-growing, North Sea focused, upstream oil and gas company. Formed in March 2014, JOG has grown significantly since inception following the drilling of the Verbier discovery in 2017 with its co-venturers Equinor and CIECO, and recently through the 2019 award of licences in the Greater Buchan Area.  The Company's licenced acreage is estimated to have more than 140 million barrels of discovered and recoverable oil volumes net to JOG and significant additional exploration opportunities.  Central to the discovered resource portfolio is the Buchan field which lies at the heart of the Greater Buchan Area.  This field, together with a further three discoveries, form the heart of a major new area hub development operated by JOG in the Central North Sea.

Why Jersey Oil and Gas chose Progressive TSL as their implementation partner

  • Robust accounting systems
With the significant and rapid expansion of JOG's business following the award of the Greater Buchan Area assets, including operatorship, a more comprehensive and robust accounting system was required. Progressive's experience in implementing finance and asset management systems in upstream businesses operating in the North Sea was a key factor in the decision to choose Progressive.

  • Ongoing support
Progressive TSL's commitment to ongoing support, post-implementation, handled by a team with both finance and oil and gas experience was of real benefit to JOG.

  • Future growth opportunities
The fact that Progressive TSL's solution was industry-specific, meant that as JOG continues to evolve; Progressive will be able to assist and advise, adding to the future-proof, core infrastructure presently in place, allowing scalability for JOG's future growth.
