iQx™ Automates End of Well Reporting

The Software business unit of AGR has delivered the first automated End of Well Report for Lundin Energy Norway. The firm's industry-leading plug-and-play solution, iQx™, was utilised to generate the detailed well completion report for a well drilled in the Edvard Grieg area by the Leiv Eiriksson rig.

Lundin Energy Norway has confirmed it will now use iQx™ as standard across its well delivery process, enabling a more straight forward, accurate and less time consuming working method for their drilling organisation.

AGR's iQx™ software simplifies and increases efficiency of the planning and execution of drilling wells by aligning the different project disciplines around a single, trusted source of project-specific well data. The D2 reporting application on iQx™ uses client project data to automatically populate reports, dramatically reducing administration time and facilitating knowledge transfer for upcoming and future operations. The application allows users like Lundin Energy Norway to assign responsibilities to both onshore-offshore teams and service companies, using standardised report templates across their projects.

AGR Software business unit helps oil and gas companies to digitise their well delivery process with immediate tangible results enhancing also the cross-discipline collaboration. Harnessing our operations expertise through three decades, AGR has been developing E&P software since early 90's.

Øystein Andersen, Vice President of AGR Software, added, “We have worked with Lundin Energy Norway for many years so it's exciting to see that they have now added D2 to their existing iQx™ license pool. The fact the company has committed to implementing D2 as standard End of Well Report (EOWR) application is testament to its capabilities and to those of our experts behind it. We look forward to supporting Lundin Energy Norway with our digital solutions and throughout Operator's well construction and execution.”

iQx™ D2 application has been welcomed by the industry since it launched, with several fellow Norwegian operators implementing the software in their regulatory reporting.
