Last chance to enter the 34th Offshore Achievement Awards


The entry date for the Awards has been extended to 22nd November 2019

The deadline to enter the offshore industry's most prestigious awards has been extended, meaning there are still two weeks left to enter. Both companies and individuals now have until 22 November to grasp this fantastic opportunity to be recognised for their technology, their company and career excellence amongst the industry's brightest talent. 

In its 34th year, the annual awards remain a not-for-profit event, with surplus generated from sponsorship and table sales invested directly into STEM initiatives across Scotland, building the young people of today into the industry leaders of tomorrow.

With the new ‘Energy Transition for Future Generations' category for 2020, this year's awards have shown how they reflect the changing priorities of the industry and demonstrate the need to recognise exceptional efforts made by companies to deliver a net zero future.

Meanwhile, the ‘Internationalisation' award replaces ‘Export Achievement', which will honour companies for both their export activity and international growth. This year also sees the return of highly regarded categories including Great Large and Great Small Company, Young Professional, Emerging Technology, HSE Innovation, Significant Contribution, Outstanding Skills Development and Innovator.

Ian Phillips, Chair of the Offshore Achievement Awards organising committee said: “I am very much looking forward to seeing the variety and calibre of talent presented at this year's awards, alongside the technological innovations that will help shape the future of the sector.

 “With the deadline extension now in place, I would urge anyone thinking about entering to do so now. Whether you are self-nominating or nominated, a company or an individual, the awards offer the unmissable opportunity to celebrate your company's achievements with your colleagues and create an inspiring platform to showcase your brand.” 

Entries are open to all UK-registered companies within the oil & gas and renewables sectors – categories, criteria and application forms are available through our nominations page. Finalists will be announced January 2020 and winners at the black-tie ceremony on 19th March at the P&J Live.
