On 26 September, the EIC Connect Oil & Gas USA conference returns to the Norris Conference Center, Houston, for the third year running, hosted by the Energy Industries Council (EIC).

Additional leading energy companies active across North America including Kiewit, LNG Limited, EIC supporting partners: Department for International Trade (Mexico) and Scottish Development International (USA and Canada), are to take part in the event.

Participating operators and contractors, (Baker Hughes, a GE company, Department for International Trade, Kiewit, LNG Limited, Modec, Petrofac, Scottish Development International, Siemens, Subsea 7, Wood and Worley) will also hold private one-to-one meetings with delegates to discuss their supplier requirements, procurement procedures and how they can work together on upcoming developments.  Company briefing sessions allow delegates to learn first-hand from operators and contractors how to position themselves to win business in North America.

This year, delegates will also hear an update on the current state of offshore/onshore upstream opportunities in Mexico.

Commenting ahead of the event EIC Regional Director for North & Central America Amanda Duhon, said: “I'm looking forward to another successful EIC Connect Oil & Gas USA. Since we first delivered EIC Connect Oil & Gas USA in October 2017, much has happened across the oil and gas sector.

“From operators optimising operations and centralising project delivery, EPCs driving consolidation, to supply chain and OEMs innovating and driving down costs; we are indeed in a new energy market. This innovation of the oil and gas sector culture provides a great opportunity for collaboration across the value chain to identify gaps and address challenges to drive technology, solve problems, and remain competitive.”

The event will close with a high-level panel of speakers from Kiewit, LNG Limited, Marathon Oil Corporation, Worley among others, addressing the gaps and challenges across the upstream, downstream and, in particular, a focus on the midstream sector which provides the entire oil and gas market, to operate efficiently.

Event sponsors of EIC Connect Oil & Gas USA 2019 include: Bureau Veritas, Eutex, FWB Park Brown, Honeywell, iPS powerful people, Pentagon Freight, Petrofac, Vulcanic, William Hare and Wood Plc.
