Gas Academy Brings to you - LNG Vietnam 2019

ABOUT THE LNG MARKET IN VIETNAM....

The fall of domestic gas production and rising power demand are seeing a bigger role for LNG in Vietnam. Under the Vietnam gas plan, LNG volumes shall be imported and distributed in quantities of 1 - 4 billion m3 per year from 2021 and increased to 6 - 10 billion by 2026. This is in line with the expected LNG supply by 2021 from the completion of the Thi Vai LNG Terminal. Other LNG projects such as My Son LNG terminal are also being planned out by State-owned, PV Gas.

Besides state initiated projects, other collaboration between private investors and the local state government such as the Bac Lieu project, are gaining traction. With more projects being announced in Vietnam highlighting the interests and opportunities for LNG in Vietnam, this is indeed an exciting time for the industry to invest in one of the upcoming markets in Asia.

ABOUT THE EVENT....

With the strong support and endorsement from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and major stakeholders in Vietnam such as PetroVietnam Gas and LNG Vietnam JSC, the most anticipated LNG conference will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on 23 & 24 July 2019. This event will see the gathering of investors and key local stakeholders to network and discuss on key LNG development as the future of Vietnam's LNG. Other features of the event will also see an LNG workshop on 22nd July 2019 and a special site visit to Thi Vai LNG terminal in Vung Tau on 25th July 2019.
