NEW YORK, NY (USA) 3/16/17 Conrado Rodrigues, a specialist in the natural gas industry, has joined Okra Energy as Vice President of Business Development. Rodrigues is experienced in all facets of the natural gas value chain: gas processing, liquefaction, transportation, and gas-fueled power generation plants & fuel conversion projects. Rodrigues will be responsible for leading the Okra Energy sales team, developing new business opportunities and creating customized solutions to customer needs.
Prior to joining Okra Energy, Rodrigues was the Natural Gas Business Development Director of SoEnergy International, a power generation IPP company with projects in more than 30 countries. By leveraging his strategic partnerships with leading gas suppliers and cutting-edge LNG technology providers, he delivered gas power generation solutions for clients around the world. Rodrigues' power generation experience began with General Electric's Granite Services, where he managed combined-cycle power outage projects and O&G platform turbine maintenance projects in the western hemisphere.
Rodrigues has helped innovate the small-scale LNG industry since serving as project manager of FNX LNG Solutions, a European natural gas liquefaction plant manufacturer. There, he directed the project feasibility analyses of diesel displacement projects, serving mines and industrial clients transitioning to natural gas.
