OPC announces MOU with The Delton Group

OPC has signed an MOU with the Delton Group to jointly develop and market training and technical consultancy services to the global oil and gas industry.

The collaboration provides customers of both parties with easy access to a broader range of technical training and consultancy services through one single point of contact.

Chris Bayly, Training Manager of OPC commented “We are very pleased to announce this agreement with The Delton Group.  We are now able to offer the Delton Technical Training, Competency Assurance and Specialist Consultancy Services capability, in addition to our already comprehensive technical training portfolio supporting the oil and gas industry.  Demand for our training courses has never been greater and we look forward to working with Arnold and the team in the future.”

Arnold Almond, Director of The Delton Group, said “This agreement allows both parties to continue to operate independently, providing its current core services to existing and new clients worldwide, whilst collaborating as an OPC/Delton partnership, thus enabling both to offer clients a broader and more comprehensive range of services from front end geosciences and subsurface engineering to upstream production and downstream process facilities specialist support.  Delton has worked with OPC successfully since 2016 and this formal agreement allows us to extend our capability to jointly deliver these services to international clients.  It is a positive move and is good for our clients.“

OPC and Delton

This collaboration with the Delton Group is the latest in a select number of strategic alliances that OPC has formed over the last five years.  Early in 2015, OPC signed an MoU with Advisian Worley Parsons to develop an integrated subsurface and subsea facilities management service.  In 2017 OPC formed an alliance with Fraser Well Management and in 2018 OPC formed an alliance with Starcap Energy.  These alliances provide a broader range of services to clients yet at the same time ensure that the specialized expertise of each party is secured.
