A brand new event linking key energy hubs in Scotland and Australia will take place in Aberdeen next month.
The inaugural Aberdeen-Perth, WA Gateway will be hosted by Granite PR and held in association with the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference, and The Government of Western Australia.
It will take place at Aberdeen's Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel on Tuesday, December 6th and feature keynote speaker John Atkins, Agent General for the Government of Western Australia's European Office. In addition will be a line-up of leading presenters including:
· Aberdeen City Council
· Aberdeenshire Council
· Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference
· Bank of Scotland
· City of Perth
· Subsea UK
Building on the success of the now well-established annual Aberdeen-Houston Gateway and Aberdeen-Norway Gateway, this new event will offer a platform for knowledge sharing and networking between two leading energy hubs. It is also hoped that it will act as a springboard to further strengthen the links between the locations as well as facilitating additional opportunities between participating businesses.
The capital city of Western Australia, Perth is consistently ranked by the Economic Intelligence Unit as one of the top ten most liveable cities in the world.
Commenting on plans for the inaugural Aberdeen-Perth, WA Gateway event creator and Granite PR and managing director Brett Jackson said: “Aberdeen and Perth are both founding members of the World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP) and both are globally recognised as international energy capitals. The synergies which exist between these locations offer an exciting opportunity to explore in-depth the opportunities which exist for those seeking to broaden their corporate horizons.”
The Aberdeen-Perth, WA Gateway is supported by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council, Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference, Bank of Scotland, Emirates, Energy Voice, Entier, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Press & Journal, Quensh, SDI, Subsea UK, The Government of Western Australia.
