Valor powers into 2019 with acquisition of NSPS

Valor Energy Group Ltd has acquired Aberdeen based electrical engineering specialist North Sea Power Solutions (NSPS) in a seven figure deal.

The acquisition sees NSPS become the third company to join the Valor Energy Group in the past year. Adding the services of NSPS compliments the current engineering offering within the Group.

Established in 2012 by Managing Director Graeme Harper, NSPS deliver world class electrical and procurement services to the energy industry. Employing a dedicated core team of 12 staff, the business has seen continual growth since its inception due to the high standard of engineering and technical support offered across its range of services, which include HV/LV Switchgear and Distribution, Multi-Service Rope Access, Rotating Equipment & Condition Monitoring.

Graeme Harper comments “At NSPS we have progressively built a dynamic and successful solutions-based business. Our highly skilled and enthusiastic team has ensured that the company has gone from strength to strength while delivering against client expectations on projects undertaken”.

Graeme continued: “We are pleased to join Valor Energy Group and I personally look forward to working with the new innovative board of directors and taking NSPS to the next level in the business. We are already reaping the reward of cross group collaboration which is an exciting prospect. This not only allows for additional business support, but will help us realise accelerated growth”.

Valor Energy Group, headquartered in Aberdeen, foresee that 2019 will be a year of strong progress for the Group. As part of the ongoing strategy, Valor will look to drive growth, including the internationalisation of NSPS, capitalising on existing Middle East contracts, and maximising the impact of NSPS in the region.

Jordan Ferguson, Business Development Director at Valor, said: “The acquisition of NSPS is a significant contribution to our development strategy and will make a major impression in our ambitious growth targets across the business. We are delighted to welcome NSPS to the Group during this exciting period of growth. Our attention remains focused on creating an unrivalled group offering which can collectively assist the diverse needs of our clients”.
