OEG global network fulfill new cargo unit rental contracts

Leading offshore container and module manufacturer OEG Offshore (OEG) has delivered  cargo carrying units for rental supply agreements in Europe and Africa during the start of 2017.

In Africa OEG has been awarded contracts with independent oil and gas and service companies to supply several hundred offshore containers, tanks, baskets and skips in support of drilling exploration activities offshore Cote D'Ivoire and Senegal, West Africa.   These recent contracts continue to be fulfilled from OEG's full service base in Aberdeen as well as multiple partner locations in The Netherlands, Angola and Ghana.

OEG will also deliver over 100 standard cargo units for a 3 year pan-European rental agreement with a major drilling contractor.  The first tranche of units left Aberdeen in February to start work in the UK and further NORSOK units will be mobilized from their Dusavik base to be utilized offshore Norway.  OEG's rental fleet is also being deployed to service a number of contracts in the Eastern Mediterranean.

All the units incorporate industry standard safety features and are designed and manufactured to DNV 2.7-1/EN12079 and delivered with fully certified lifting assemblies to suit customers & country specific requirements.

OEG's President, Eirik Ellingsen said: “OEG has continued to develop its international customer base and we are committed to the ongoing expansion of our global network of offices and partner link-ups. We believe that this unique approach and strategic positioning will ensure that we can continue to expand customer support for our products anywhere in the world.”

The Aberdeen firm has also delivered several DNV 2.7-1 A60 Zone 2 engineering cabins for short & long term rental contracts in support of decommissioning & plug and abandonment activities in the North Sea, UK and Dutch sectors as well as onshore exploration activities in Albania.

Customers continue to benefit from improved cost efficiencies with access to OEG's comprehensive stock of over 25,000 DNV 2.7-1 cargo carrying units, on the ground and ready to mobilise from key supply hubs and extensive multiple partner locations, ensuring immediate availability to any international destination.

OEG Offshore offers the same varied range of equipment for sale as well as rental, alongside a bespoke design service to meet most offshore applications.
