Deep Casing Tools Appoints New Sales and Operations Team

Aberdeen-headquartered casing and completion technology business, Deep Casing Tools, has appointed Andrew Wilson to the newly-created position of Global Sales and Operations Manager and Tessa Scott as European Sales Manager.

Andrew will head up implementing a new business delivery model driving greater alignment between sales and operations teams to provide service excellence to customers. This new approach is part of the company's growth strategy in Europe, The Middle East and North America, following significant investment from EV Private Equity earlier this year.

As part of the delivery of this strategy, Andrew has added to his team with the appointment of Tessa Scott.

Andrew has more than 11 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, within operational roles, the last four years being at Deep Casing Tools, and global oilfield services company, Schlumberger prior to this.

While Tessa has more than 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry in both engineering and business development roles, most recently for Rubicon Oilfield International.

David Stephenson, CEO of Deep Casing Tools said:

“We're delighted with these two key appointments.  Andrew has a strong technical background and has a detailed knowledge of our operations. He also has a deep understanding of our customers' needs and shares our vision to align our sales and operational delivery.  Tessa's appointment adds further strength to this area of the business with the working knowledge she has of the industry.   Under Andrew's leadership this new team will help us build stronger, long-term relationships with our customers, making sure we provide the right tool for the right application, and with some new technologies soon to be released this will be key to our success.”

Andrew Wilson, Sales and Operations Manager, Deep Casing Tools said:

“I'm excited by the challenge of this new role and can't wait to get started.  There's been a significant change in the industry in recent years and companies have had to adapt to this new environment.  It's an exciting time for Deep Casing Tools with new investment and a real drive to grow the company and I'm delighted to be a part of it.

“Deep Casing Tools has been a great place for me to learn and develop. I've been able to build on my core skills by moving into different parts of the business and the company has supported me through a part-time MBA. This new role will enable me to utilise my technical an operational background to improve the sales process and make sure we exceed our customers' expectations every time.”

Deep Casing Tools offers a range of innovative tools designed to land casings, liners and completions at target depth in oil and gas wells, providing significant cost and time efficiencies, as well as minimising risk.
