Subsea Supplies Announces New Burton Products Neoprene Moulding Offering

Subsea Supplies has launched a new service offering following an exclusive agreement with a multi-billion pound global business.

Aberdeen-based Subsea Supplies has secured an official licence from Eaton to manufacture products using its internationally-recognised Burton Subsea Product Line.

Following a £200,000 investment in its new operation, Subsea Supplies has been recognised by Eaton as its certified European partner for Burton neoprene connector and cabling assemblies.

Established in 2000, Subsea Supplies has built an industry-wide reputation for the supply of connectors, ROV umbilicals and tethers, submersible motors and other products relating to the underwater sector.

Pauline McCann, sales manager at Subsea Supplies, said: “We're proud to be officially recognised as the only Burton product range distributor accredited to manufacture in Europe.

“We have the capability to manufacture Burton cable and connector assemblies certified to Eaton standards, providing application assurance each and every step of the way. It's great news to be formally launching this new service offering to the market.”

Subsea Supplies provides components, connectors and other equipment to companies operating in the oil and gas, oceanographic, defence and underwater sectors. Its products are commonly used across a broad range of subsea projects including remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), subsea instrumentation, underwater cameras and hydraulic power units.

Subsea Supplies has industry-leading partners including Eaton, Nexans Norway A/S, Masto Wire-Service A/S, Sun-Star Electric, Clear-Com, Innerspace and AK Industries.

In addition, the company supplies intercom systems, cathodic protection, hydraulic thrusters, underwater lubricant products, ROV umbilical cable grease and other ROV-related equipment. Subsea Supplies has solutions from more than 1,500 product lines that can be ordered online 24/7.
