Norco Group Ltd, specialist service providers on power electronics and stand-by battery equipment, have announced the release of their own range of products. With all manufacturing carried out at their Aberdeen, UK headquarters, Norco are entering the OEM market with a Central Battery System, a Battery Monitor, and industrial-spec Battery Chargers and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
Norco's UPS Director John Roy:
“It's a massive step-up from service provider to equipment manufacturer, and it's taken years of effort by our R&D department to get us to this point. We believe there's great value in dealing with a local company that takes care of everything themselves, from design and manufacture through to after-sales support. There's no re-badging of bought-in equipment - all of these systems are 100% Norco and bespoke-built to each client's individual needs.”
Norco's N-Core Central Battery System is specifically designed to supply power to emergency systems in large buildings, such as emergency lighting, fire suppression and alarm equipment. It has been created with the export market in mind and is BSI kite-marked to EN50171. The N-Bloc Battery Monitor constantly measures the vital signs of industrial batteries and provides alarm indications if any parameters are exceeded. This early warning can prevent unexpected power loss and damage to the expensive batteries themselves. Any kind of critical circuit can be supported by the Norco N-Pulse DC and AC range of industrial Battery Chargers and UPS. These can be supplied as complete new installs or retrofitted into existing infrastructure to deliver a significant cost-saving to the end user. Like all of Norco's systems, there are no software restrictions so the client always retains full control over their own equipment.
Already holders of maintenance contacts with several international Oil & Gas operators, nuclear energy sites, emergency service centres and hospitals, Norco will now look to market their own systems to similar clients.
More information on the new products and other services can be found on https://www.norcoenergy.com/ or by calling +44 (0)1224 729221.
