March 27, 2018 (HOUSTON) – Shale Support Holdings, LLC, a leading provider of frac-sands and logistical solutions to the oil and gas proppant market, today announced a second dryer is now online in Picayune, Mississippi. This addition has allowed Shale Support to add an additional 2 million ton annual capacity, with total annual production now upwards of 3 million tons.
“The addition of the second dryer allowed us to substantially increase our production capabilities,” said Lee Hullman, vice president of business development. “We're excited to continue investing and growing together with the city of Picayune and look forward to expanding our infrastructure even more in the future.”
Shale Support mines Delta Pearl from its properties in Picayune. Delta Pearl is the frac sand of choice among operators and third-party suppliers with operations in the Marcellus/Utica, Permian, Eagle Ford and Haynesville/Tuscaloosa shale plays.
