Electrical Engineer, HV Projects
Location - Manchester

Summary
Our client is an engineering consultancy requiring a professional electrical engineer of high voltage projects. You will be involved in the coordination and delivery of the design phase of HV projects.
Our Client
Our client works in partnership with asset owners to deliver large-scale, capital intensive projects, using a proprietary project delivery methodology to minimise project risk and maximise investor returns.

Responsibilities
The applicant will be responsible for:
*The preparation & review of design risk assessments and project Health & Safety plans under supervision of the Project Supervisor Design
*Delivering and leading designs to clients - meeting the necessary requirements focusing on delivery to contract time, safety and quality objectives.
*Designs including detail design of substation control, protection schematics and the physical design (including layouts) of plant in high voltage substations.
*Managing and coordinating technical, commercial, and financial characteristics of projects with internal and external stakeholders.
*Ability to work and share knowledge and competencies within a team structure.

Requirements
The applicant should have:
*Degree in Electrical Engineering
*At least three years' experience with medium or high voltage substation design, construction or maintenance
*Possess excellent communication and report writing skills
*Should demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
*Should be interested in developing a technical career path
