Spencer Ogden are seeking an Account Manager-Smart Metering to be in the UK (Home based with travel)

Our client are a global metering manufacturing specialist. They provide Smart Meters worldwide and work in partnership with all the major energy providers. Due to expansion and with the roll out of their SMETS 2 program, they are seeking an experienced account manager to join them on a permanent basis.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the development of small and medium sized retailer accounts with the relevant Meter Asset Provider (MAP) at a senior/corporate relationship level, supported and guided by the Senior Account Manager. The overall purpose is to develop deep, company and broad relationships with customers built around trust, respect and credibility, thus ensuring the development of healthy and long lasting relationships

Initially you will manage the initial integration and testing relationship (programme to programme) ensuring delivery of services and support. You will use your relationship development and influencing skills to manage the demands of customers during the early phases of pilot and roll out.

As the successful candidate you will have the following background:
- Degree or equivalent education
- Proven account management background
- Knowledge of the current smart metering roll out
- Utilities/Energy background
- Excellent communication skills
- Programme management
- Proven relationship and business success
