PESGB and SEAPEX are excited to announce their collaboration on the new Asia-Pacific E&P Conference in London. This conference brings the popular biennial SEAPEX Conference in Singapore to London, with a full technical programme, exhibition floor, farmouts, NOCs and government bodies, a field trip and plenty of social and business networking opportunities.
“Asia-Pacific Revisited: New Ideas, New Opportunities” will be a themed technical conference focussing on future possibilities via new regional perspectives and highlighting exploration successes and opportunities on a country or play basis. Companies and Institutions confirmed to speak include BP, Total, Shell, ExxonMobil, Petronas University, Ophir Energy, Royal Holloway University of London, Conrad Petroleum, KrisEnergy, Twinza Oil, Timor Gap and CKR Resources, with an excellent series of talks covering topics such as SE Asia's E&P landscape, regional geological syntheses, Myanmar, Malaysia; Indonesia; Vietnam; Cambodia; Australia and Papua New Guinea.
In addition to the talks, the accompanying Exhibition offers a great opportunity to network with likeminded colleagues. Exhibition space has almost sold out and many of the key companies working in the SE Asia region will be available to discuss their business offerings and opportunities with you. A designated area to promote Farm-out opportunities in the region is also included within the Exhibition Hall.
To complement all the intellectual stimulation, the PESGB and SEAPEX have created a very lively social schedule which includes a pre-conference Icebreaker Reception, a Quiz Night at the end of day one and a tour of some of the local hostelries to round off day two. As the conference coincides with the World Cup, the conference organisers have thoughtfully ensured that Footy Fans will also be able to watch key matches without having to leave the conference.
Conference participants can also register for pre-conference Course and separate Workshop on the Petroleum Geology of SE Asia and post conference Field Trip to the Jurassic Coast of Southern England (A World National Heritage Site).
